Facilities Coordinator – Maintenance Engineering (UAE National)

About the role

Join Amazon’s Reliability Maintenance Engineering team as a Facilities Coordinator. You will ensure safety compliance, timely preventative maintenance, and high equipment availability across Amazon’s warehouse network in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Model and enforce health and safety best practices throughout the facility.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on all material handling equipment, providing hands‑on troubleshooting and prioritising issues.
• Coach and mentor shift technicians, support the line manager and supervise the shift in their absence.
• Maintain high equipment availability for internal customers by driving continuous improvement and standardising processes.
• Manage contractor activities within the facility.
• Work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights and holidays.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial controls, automation or project management (resource planning, scheduling, reporting).
• Knowledge of overall equipment effectiveness and equipment performance metrics.
