About the role

The Family and Marriage Counsellor (Sakina) provides high‑quality psychological services to individuals, families and groups within Al Ain Hospital. Working autonomously and in collaboration with senior clinical psychologists and multidisciplinary teams, the role ensures compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑to‑one clinical psychological consultations and interventions for individuals, families and groups.
• Collaborate with senior clinical psychologists to provide consultative services internally and externally.
• Develop psychosocial formulations and risk‑management plans for complex cases.
• Coordinate assessment, treatment planning and referral processes for clients with severe psychological difficulties.
• Promote high‑quality psychological services through direct clinical work and teamwork.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, infection‑control and quality‑control programs.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.

Required profile

• Ability to practice autonomously as an independent practitioner.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
