F&B Attendant - Umami and Sushi Bar

About the role

The InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa, a luxury beachfront resort on Hayat Island less than an hour from Dubai, is looking for a passionate, service-oriented F&B Attendant for its Umami and Sushi bar. You will welcome guests, present menus and take orders, and help deliver a refined dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, personalised service throughout their meal.
• Present menus, take food and beverage orders and recommend dishes based on guest preferences.
• Develop a good understanding of Japanese cuisine, ingredients and dining traditions to guide guests through the menu.
• Serve food and beverages accurately, efficiently and to luxury service standards.
• Prepare and maintain the dining area, keeping it clean with proper table settings.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Work closely with the culinary and service teams and handle guest feedback professionally, supporting service recovery when needed.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and responsible beverage service standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an F&B Attendant or Waiter/Waitress in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Experience in a Japanese restaurant or knowledge of Japanese cuisine is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of food and beverage service standards, including table service and guest engagement.
• Strong English communication skills, with a warm, confident and professional approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to provide personalised service in an intimate dining environment.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and genuine passion for hospitality.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
