Field Application Specialist – Clinical Diagnostics

About the role

Bio‑Rad’s Clinical Diagnostics Group is seeking a proactive Field Application Specialist to support its Quality Control, HbA1c, Hemoglobinopathies and Autoimmune product lines in the Dubai region. The role combines technical expertise with customer‑facing activities, delivering training, demonstrations and application support to drive short‑ and long‑term sales success.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through meetings, product demonstrations, seminars, webinars and training sessions.
• Provide on‑site application support for installed instruments, collaborating with Technical Support, Service and Sales teams.
• Plan, execute and follow up sales activities targeting high‑value customers and strategic market segments.
• Engage Key Opinion Leaders and decision‑makers at important customer accounts.
• Maintain and expand expert knowledge of assigned technologies and share insights with the sales team.
• Identify additional sales opportunities across the broader product portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory sciences or a related scientific discipline.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities; capable of working independently and within a team.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales experience or laboratory experience; experience presenting at seminars or workshops is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Quality Control diagnostics.
• Experience with HbA1c testing platforms.
• Understanding of Hemoglobinopathies assays.
• Familiarity with Autoimmune diagnostic products.
• Basic proficiency with IT systems used in laboratory environments.
