Finance and Accounting Intern

About the role

The Finance and Accounting Intern works closely with the finance team to gain practical exposure to accounting operations, financial reporting and business finance processes. It suits students or recent graduates who want hands-on industry experience in a corporate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the finance team with financial data entry, reconciliation and analysis
• Assist with daily accounting activities and month-end/quarter-end closing procedures
• Help prepare financial reports, dashboards and presentations
• Contribute to budgeting, expense monitoring and variance analysis
• Coordinate with other departments on finance-related projects and tasks
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure accurate documentation
• Provide general administrative support to the finance and accounting function

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline
• Valid UAE residence visa under parent or university sponsorship
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented, reliable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
