Finance Manager (FP&A)

About the role

An established diversified group based in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Finance Manager with strong FP&A expertise, commercial acumen and the ability to support financial performance and decision-making across multiple business units. The role works closely with senior management and business unit leaders to provide financial insights, improve financial planning processes and support commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting across business units, develop financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and prepare monthly management reports
• Analyse actuals against budgets and forecasts, set KPIs and build rolling forecasts, scenario and sensitivity models
• Act as a commercial partner: advise on pricing, profitability, cost optimisation and resource allocation, evaluate new projects and investments, and identify ways to improve ROI
• Consolidate budgets and reporting across entities, monitor performance against targets, and prepare presentations for senior management
• Maintain cash flow forecasts, analyse working capital (receivables, payables, inventory) and support capital expenditure planning
• Improve financial reporting processes, build dashboards, support ERP and business intelligence tools, and work with accounting and operational teams on data quality

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CMAM
• Minimum 7 years of progressive finance experience, with strong exposure to FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and commercial finance
• Experience in a multi-business environment strongly preferred; previous UAE experience preferred
• Proven ability to analyse financial performance and give commercially focused recommendations

Required skills

• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel (essential)
• Power BI or other business intelligence and reporting tools (advantageous)
• Good understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, cash flow and working capital management
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and hands-on ownership of FP&A activities
