Finance Manager – Investments

About the role

The Investments Finance Manager will lead financial management, performance analysis, and governance of Ghobash Trading & Investment's multi‑asset investment portfolio. Acting as the bridge between the investment team and finance function, the role supports decision‑making through valuation, modelling, and robust reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial management, performance tracking and governance of the Group’s investment portfolio across asset classes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports, variance analysis and executive dashboards.
• Conduct valuation analysis, financial modelling and support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning.
• Monitor portfolio performance against strategic benchmarks, IRR, MOIC, DPI and NAV targets.
• Analyse realised and unrealised gains/losses, track coupon income, dividends and capital appreciation.
• Support portfolio rebalancing and asset‑allocation decisions with financial insights.
• Ensure statutory financial reporting, consolidated statements, audit coordination and compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements and Group accounting policies.
• Maintain strong internal controls, reporting accuracy and audit readiness for assigned entities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial management of investment portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare consolidated financial statements and coordinate audits.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on performance measurement and variance analysis.
