About the role
We are supporting a well‑established financial institution in the UAE to appoint a Finance Manager. The role sits within the Finance function and works closely with senior leadership while leading a finance team.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting and month‑end / year‑end close processes.
- Develop and maintain IFRS accounting policies and ensure compliance.
- Implement financial controls, governance and regulatory reporting.
- Prepare management reports, budgeting and forecasting.
- Manage balance‑sheet oversight, reconciliations and audit requirements.
- Drive finance systems optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
Required profile
- Qualified finance professional with CA/ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience in banking or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
- Experience in financial controls, regulatory reporting and audit.
- Proven ability to manage or lead a finance team.
- UAE/GCC experience advantageous.
