Finance & SAP Cloud Implementation Consultant (3-Month Contract)

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is hiring an experienced Finance & SAP Cloud Implementation Consultant for an initial three-month assignment in the UAE. The consultant supports the Finance team and the SAP implementation programme across finance process transformation, business requirements, testing, data migration, reporting and go-live activities, working closely with Finance, IT, SAP implementation teams and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements and conduct fit-gap analysis and process mapping
• Support SAP system testing, UAT, defect resolution and issue tracking
• Assist with financial data migration, validation and reconciliation
• Support cutover, go-live and post-go-live stabilisation
• Provide functional support for General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting, Cash Management and Treasury
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and management accounting, including monthly reports, management accounts and Budget vs Actual analysis
• Prepare management dashboards, KPI reports and presentations for management and steering committee meetings
• Support tax, VAT and regulatory compliance and contribute to process optimisation

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting and/or SAP Finance implementation
• Strong functional knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting, Reconciliations, Cash/Treasury, Budgeting and Financial Reporting
• Experience with SAP implementation partners or consulting teams is advantageous
• Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CPA or a final-year degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or a related field is encouraged
