Finance Trainee – High End Luxury

About the role

The Finance Trainee will support the Fashion Division finance team with budgeting, reporting and day‑to‑day financial analysis, providing a hands‑on learning experience in a luxury retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the annual budget and periodic forecasts for high‑end fashion brands and stores.
• Collect, consolidate and verify budget inputs from retail and merchandising teams.
• Support monthly management reports, analysing sales, gross margin and operating expenses.
• Help with month‑end closing tasks such as accruals, reconciliations and journal entries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field (recent graduates welcome).
• 0–1 year of experience; internships in finance, audit or retail are a plus.
• Progress towards professional qualifications (ACCA, CMA, CPA) is advantageous.
• High attention to detail, organized and able to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and basic formulas.
• Familiarity with an ERP system such as SAP.
• Good grasp of accounting principles and financial statements.
