Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst is an integral part of the finance team, providing clear, accurate and insightful business and financial analysis. The role contributes to business planning and takes part in project work and ad hoc reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Build an understanding of the value drivers of the business
• Create analytics around key performance indicators such as business performance, balance scorecard, business development opportunities, budgets and forecasts, market and revenue analysis, promotions and pricing, capital expenditure approvals, cash flow and working capital, cost level analysis and customer profitability
• Provide analysis for the monthly reports so management can understand key continuing and developing trends
• Support business planning and forecasting
• Liaise with business managers and act as a trusted partner through high-quality support and decision-aiding analysis

Required profile

• Professional qualification: CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, MBA or equivalent
• 1-3 years of post-qualification professional experience in finance
• Fluency in English and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude and flexibility to work in a multicultural environment

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of financial and management accounting concepts
• Strong analytical skills, able to identify and interpret key business drivers
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Previous experience with ERP systems is desirable
