Financial Controller – 1 Year Contract

About the role

Acino, a global pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Finance Specialist to lead financial planning, analysis, and business control activities for its Middle East operations on a one‑year contract.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, reconciliations, collections and credit control.
• Execute month‑end closing, support group and tax reporting, consolidation and balance‑sheet reporting.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, treasury reports and intercompany financing documentation.
• Oversee banking activities such as payments, letters of credit, bank coordination and reconciliations.
• Control Capex budgets, conduct financial evaluations, forecasting, variance analysis and ensure policy compliance.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, transfer pricing, deferred tax and other tax requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Commerce.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA or CIMA) preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive finance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP Business One.
• Familiarity with Tagetik.
• Proficiency in Power BI.
