Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, commercially‑minded Financial Controller to support the Regional Finance Director and lead finance operations across the Middle East. This senior leadership position is responsible for financial control, reporting and ERP governance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Accounting, Working Capital, COS and ERP teams and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial reporting, lead month‑end/quarter‑end/year‑end closes and maintain internal controls.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning, delivering insightful analysis to support executive decisions.
• Oversee project financial performance, margins, risks and commercial exposures.
• Drive finance process improvement, automation and ERP enhancements.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• Significant senior finance experience, preferably in a multi‑entity, project‑based environment.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to challenge assumptions and influence decisions.
