Financial Controlling Specialist – MENA Cluster

About the role

The Financial Controlling Specialist will ensure accurate and reliable reporting for entities within the MENA cluster of DSV. Working closely with the Business Controlling Manager and In‑Country Finance teams, you will provide objective analysis of daily business performance and guide operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present internal management accounts using SAP SAC and TMS data, delivering variance analysis each month.
• Analyse site, branch and product results, proposing initiatives to improve profitability and productivity.
• Support the budgeting process, preparing P&L budgets and reconciling targets and forecasts across AFO, country submissions and RtR inputs.
• Guide local finance on rolling forecasts, profitability improvement projects and process optimisation for work‑in‑progress, unbilled work and cost‑centre reporting.
• Reconcile transportation billing data with SAP/CW1 financial records to ensure complete and accurate revenue recognition.
• Monitor EBIT evolution, deliver month‑end forecasts and investigate any anomalies.
• Produce regular reports for sales, client profitability, product performance and daily gross‑profit dashboards.
• Act as liaison between the Regional Shared Service Centre and local operations, validating SAP Controlling structures.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in financial controlling within logistics or transport environments.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate clear, actionable insights.
• Proactive attitude towards process improvement and cross‑functional collaboration.
