Financial Crime and Fraud Technology / Transformation – Senior Manager / Director

About the role

KPMG Middle East is expanding its Financial Crime and Fraud practice and seeks a Senior Manager / Director to lead AI‑ and data‑driven transformation initiatives for Financial Services clients. The role combines deep domain expertise with hands‑on experience in analytics, AI and technology implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain senior client relationships, engaging C‑suite stakeholders across Financial Services.
• Lead end‑to‑end bid processes from opportunity qualification through deal closure.
• Identify emerging client needs, market trends and regulatory developments in financial crime and fraud.
• Lead delivery of complex, technology‑enabled transformation programmes leveraging data, analytics and AI.
• Oversee engagement quality, manage risks, timelines and budgets to ensure successful project completion.
• Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams of data engineers, data scientists and domain specialists.

Required profile

• 10–15+ years of experience in Financial Services focusing on AML/KYC, sanctions, transaction monitoring, fraud detection and financial crime technology.
• Proven track record leading large‑scale data and AI‑driven programmes and building analytics teams.
• Experience engaging with regulators or regulatory‑driven transformation programmes.
• Prior experience in a Big 4 or leading consulting firm is preferred.
