Food & Beverage Manager (Female)

About the role

Sheraton is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager in Dubai. The position covers all food and beverage operations, including culinary, restaurant, beverage and room service, and is responsible for guest and employee satisfaction, standards and financial goals. It also involves developing and implementing the food and beverage business plan.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Food & Beverage departments (not catering sales) and supervise employees, handling day-to-day operations
• Oversee all culinary, restaurant, beverage and room service operations
• Develop and manage financial, employee engagement and guest satisfaction plans, and maintain a positive cost management index for kitchen and restaurant operations
• Provide coaching, mentoring and performance reviews, and set clear expectations and goals for staff
• Ensure exceptional customer service, respond quickly to guest concerns, verify banquet functions meet standards and take ownership of guest complaints until resolved
• Comply with food and beverage laws and regulations, and follow corporate accounting procedures

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, or a 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field
• 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary or a related area, or 2 years of experience with a 2-year degree
