Food Safety Officer

About the role
The Food Safety Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across the property, supporting guests and staff during routine operations and emergencies.
Key responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property and secure rooms.
- Conduct emergency response drills, daily safety inspections, investigations and key‑control audits.
- Monitor closed‑circuit television (CCTV) and alarm systems, authorising access to secured areas.
- Assist guests and employees during emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as required.
- Respond to accidents, gather information and complete incident reports.
- Defuse disturbances, resolve safety hazards and escort unwelcome persons from the property.
- Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and company policies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Required skills
- CCTV monitoring and alarm system operation.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Key‑control audit and emergency response procedures.
