Foreman – MEP

About the role

The Foreman – MEP is responsible for supervising and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing construction activities on‑site, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards. The role supports site engineers in managing workforce productivity and maintaining effective coordination among all project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily MEP construction activities on‑site.
• Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, specifications, company procedures and project requirements.
• Enforce site safety rules, regulations and HSE standards.
• Schedule, allocate and monitor daily tasks and workforce assignments to meet project milestones.
• Prepare daily work plans and coordinate manpower, materials, tools and equipment with Site and Project Engineers.
• Monitor work progress and workmanship quality, reporting any discrepancies.
• Identify and resolve site‑related issues, conflicts and operational challenges.
• Coordinate and communicate activities with subcontractors, consultants, clients and other stakeholders.
• Maintain site housekeeping and ensure organized, safe work areas.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and other required documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma, Technical Certificate or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Construction‑related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP construction, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Experience on commercial, residential, industrial or infrastructure projects is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MEP construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with HSE safety standards and site safety procedures.
• Competence in coordinating workforce, materials and equipment on‑site.
