FP&A Analyst

About the role

Aggreko is hiring a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst in Dubai. The role supports the business by delivering financial insight, driving performance and partnering with operational teams so they can make informed decisions. It suits a commercially minded finance professional in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and the Five-Year Plan.
• Perform detailed variance analysis, identifying key cost drivers and business trends.
• Prepare management reporting packs during budget cycles and maintain financial performance dashboards.
• Partner with Operations stakeholders to monitor and control overhead costs and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Build and maintain working capital and cashflow reporting dashboards.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including headcount and workforce reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and internal control requirements.
• Support the wider FP&A function with ad-hoc analysis, planning and business performance reviews.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Required profile

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) or relevant FP&A experience.
• Highly analytical, with strong financial modelling and data analysis skills.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Confident communicator able to build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
