FP&A Associate – Client Portfolio Manager

About the role

The FP&A Associate will act as the dedicated portfolio manager for a set of 15 clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all financial matters. Working from our Capital Centre office, you will oversee the quality of bookkeeping, tax compliance, payroll, and financial reporting delivered by our international support team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full client relationship, ensuring deliverables are on time and meet the required standard.
• Review and quality‑control bookkeeping entries, month‑end close packages, and audit‑ready records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, half‑yearly and annual financial reporting packs, including variance analysis, cash‑flow reviews and rolling forecasts.
• Lead client meetings, present financial results and recommendations, and maintain trusted advisory relationships.
• Oversee tax compliance (VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax) and payroll/WPS processes, ensuring zero penalties.
• Monitor inventory reconciliation reports and advise on stock valuation and turnover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (required).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, bookkeeping oversight or client‑facing finance roles.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) strongly preferred.
• Strong ownership mindset, high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.

Required skills

• Financial statement analysis, variance analysis and financial modelling.
• UAE VAT law, corporate tax regulations and FTA procedures.
• Proficiency with accounting software: QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Payroll review processes and UAE Wages Protection System (WPS).
