Front Desk Agent – Arabic Speaker

About the role

The Front Desk Agent will be the first point of contact for guests at an EDITION Hotel in Dubai, delivering seamless check‑in and check‑out experiences while providing exceptional service in both English and Arabic.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and process guest check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations, cancellations and payment transactions.
• Activate, issue and file room keys, and maintain accurate guest records for emergency purposes.
• Provide guests with information on room features, hotel amenities, services, operating hours and local attractions.
• Handle wake‑up call requests, relay messages to relevant departments and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
• Run daily reports, complete cashier and closing reports, and manage cash handling at the start and end of each shift.
• Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid‑outs and miscellaneous charges while ensuring compliance with loss‑prevention policies.
• Uphold company policies, maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information and report safety incidents.
• Assist guests with disabilities and ensure a welcoming, courteous interaction at all times.

Required profile

• Fluent in Arabic and English with clear, professional communication skills.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a genuine appreciation for hospitality.
• Team player who can develop positive working relationships and support collective goals.
