Front Desk Agent

About the role

Hyde, a brand within AccorHotels, is looking for a Front Desk Agent in Dubai. You will be the welcoming face of the hotel, combining professionalism with warmth to deliver a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and handle check-in and check-out efficiently while meeting service standards
• Manage guest accounts, process payments and keep accurate records of all transactions
• Listen to guest requests, concerns and complaints, document them and coordinate with the right departments to resolve them quickly, then follow up to confirm satisfaction
• Assist guests on facilities, services and local attractions, and handle multiple inquiries at once
• Upsell and recommend services to improve the guest experience
• Know hotel policies, procedures and safety standards and collaborate with colleagues and other departments
• Carry out other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Ability to manage several priorities at once, stay calm under pressure and work well in a team
• Previous experience in a front desk, guest services or customer-facing role
• Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, early mornings and overnight hours
• Knowledge of hotel operations and guest relations, and conflict resolution experience

Required skills

• Familiarity with Property Management System (PMS) software or similar hospitality platforms
• Proficiency with computer systems and office software
• Multilingual ability is a valuable asset
