FS Teacher (Early Years Foundation Stage) – Al Danah

About the role

International Community Schools Al Danah is seeking an inspirational FS Teacher to deliver the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to kindergarten learners in Abu Dhabi. The role involves creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom where children develop foundational skills, curiosity and a love for learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging EYFS lessons in line with the British curriculum.
• Create a supportive learning environment that promotes curiosity, independence and social development.
• Utilise formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform instruction.
• Integrate ICT and educational technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support each child’s development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, B.Ed.) specialising in Early Years or Primary Education.
• Valid teaching licence or registration from the country of origin.
• Minimum 2‑3 years full‑time post‑qualification experience teaching EYFS in a British curriculum school.
• Experience in an international school setting is highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of EYFS assessment and curriculum frameworks.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
