General Cashier / Paymaster (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized General Cashier and Paymaster to join Hyde Hotels in Dubai. The role involves managing cash transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and processing payroll for hotel staff.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions, receive payments, issue receipts and manage petty cash.
• Process employee payroll accurately and on time.
• Maintain daily financial records and reconcile accounts.
• Operate POS systems and cash registers with precision.
• Prepare and submit regular financial reports to management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and respond to payroll inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.
• Implement cash control procedures to prevent loss and fraud.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Accounting preferred.
• 2‑3 years experience in a cashier or paymaster role.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with the Oasys System (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
