General Manager - Commercial Lines (P&C Loss Adjusting)

About the role

Braxtone Group is looking for a General Manager for its Commercial Lines and Property & Casualty (P&C) loss adjusting business in Dubai. The role reports to the CEO and aims to build a strong market presence while delivering high-quality technical claims and loss adjusting services to insurers, reinsurers, brokers and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the Commercial Lines / P&C loss adjusting function, including its business plan, operating model and growth strategy.
• Develop new business and build relationships with insurers, reinsurers, brokers, corporate clients and other market stakeholders.
• Lead and oversee complex commercial and P&C claims and loss adjusting assignments.
• Ensure technical quality, accuracy, independence and timely delivery of loss adjusting reports, and set claims handling, investigation, reporting and quality-control standards.
• Build and manage a network of technical specialists, surveyors, adjusters and external service providers, and recruit and develop the Commercial Lines team.
• Manage client relationships, service levels and retention, and monitor revenue, pipeline, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Work with other Claims Division functions on cross-selling and business development, and ensure compliance with regulations, professional standards and company policies.
• Represent Braxtone at client meetings, industry events and market forums.

Performance targets

• Achieve the agreed annual revenue and new-business target for P&C loss adjusting.
• Secure new insurer portfolios and contracts and expand existing accounts.
• Establish the P&C loss-adjusting capability, processes, technical resources and market coverage.
• Achieve the agreed gross margin and profitability target for Commercial Lines.
• Retain key accounts and develop repeat and referral business.
• Maintain high quality and timeliness of loss-adjusting reports with minimal justified client complaints or rework.
• Build the technical team and network, and meet regulatory, client and internal requirements.
