General Manager – Holiday Homes Operations

About the role

The General Manager will lead the holiday homes business, overseeing daily operations, revenue growth and guest experience. This senior position is responsible for driving occupancy, managing budgets and guiding a multidisciplinary team to achieve the company’s financial and service objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute revenue strategies to boost occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.
• Lead the sales team to meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets and increase direct bookings.
• Oversee dynamic pricing models based on market trends and demand forecasting.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, ensuring high standards of housekeeping, maintenance, guest relations and safety.
• Coordinate with property owners and maintenance teams to maintain the portfolio.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with vendors, service providers and contractors.
• Prepare, monitor and control the annual operating budget and operational expenses.
• Provide regular financial reporting and analysis to senior management.
• Recruit, onboard, train and evaluate staff across sales, operations and administration.
• Foster a customer‑focused, performance‑driven workplace culture.
• Identify and acquire new properties to expand the holiday homes portfolio.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotional campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Implement technology solutions such as PMS, CRM and booking platforms.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, licences and health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in hospitality or property management.
• Strong background in revenue management, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with owners, vendors and guests.
• Ability to mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams.
