General Mechanical Supervisor

About the role

The General Mechanical Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day mechanical engineering operations of a luxury hotel, ensuring all mechanical equipment and systems operate efficiently, are well maintained and meet the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, chillers, pumps, boilers, water and irrigation systems.
• Allocate daily work orders, supervise the Mechanical Engineering team and ensure timely completion of all tasks.
• Manage spare parts, tools and consumables inventory to support uninterrupted operations.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Office, Kitchen and other departments to resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Monitor mechanical equipment performance, drive energy‑saving initiatives and ensure compliance with safety, fire and hygiene standards.
• Use the DynaWin maintenance system to record work orders, timings, costs and completion details.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising mechanical engineering teams in a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chillers, pumps, boilers, water, sewage and irrigation systems.
• Familiarity with hotel safety, fire, hygiene and health regulations.
