General Technician

About the role

The General Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and systems within the property. You will ensure equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, timely troubleshooting, and collaboration with the maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues promptly.
• Install, dismantle, and assemble mechanical components using appropriate tools.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications for accurate assembly and repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems.
• Execute repairs and replace faulty components to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule tasks.
• Support equipment installations, modifications, and inventory management of spare parts.
