About the role

Join Mubarak Bin Mohammed Cycle 2&3 Charter School, an American‑curriculum primary school in Abu Dhabi, as a Geography and World History teacher. You will deliver engaging lessons to mixed‑gender classes, support the school’s vision of a sustainable, innovative learning community, and contribute to the wider school life.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet the needs of the whole ability range, using creative resources and classroom displays.
• Assess and record student progress with Target Tracker, provide feedback to parents, and use data to inform future planning.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school policy, acting as a positive role model and maintaining high expectations.
• Collaborate with specialists such as speech therapists and educational psychologists, and participate in curriculum action groups and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, History or a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• 1‑2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and a clean police check.
• Commitment to the well‑being of children and a professional, solution‑focused attitude.
