GPS Technician – Fleet Tracking Installation

About the role

We are looking for a skilled GPS Technician to join our field team and handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of GPS fleet tracking and telematics equipment on a variety of customer vehicles. The role involves direct interaction with clients, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, remove, and transfer GPS tracking units and related sensors (fuel, temperature, door, camera) on customer vehicles.
• Verify proper functionality of each unit and perform hardware troubleshooting when needed.
• Prepare detailed post‑visit reports and submit them to the support team on the same day.
• Coordinate arrival times with customers, communicate any delays, and ensure vehicle availability.
• Maintain approved tools and company assets in good condition and report any loss or damage.
• Conduct new hardware tests, document observations, and train customer technicians when required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience installing GPS units and related accessories.
• Valid UAE driver’s license.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
• Team player with professional communication skills.
