Graduate Civil Engineer - Building Structures (Emirati)

About the role

WSP, a global engineering professional services consultancy, is hiring a Graduate Civil Engineer for its Building Structures team in Sharjah. The role supports key infrastructure and property projects across the UAE and is designed specifically for Emirati graduates, offering structured development, mentorship and hands-on project exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing technical designs, reports and presentations.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams across the project life cycle.
• Support project documentation and ensure quality and compliance with UAE codes and standards.
• Learn and apply digital engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS and SAFE.
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings and support the preparation of technical deliverables.
• Contribute to team discussions, problem solving and creative design thinking.

Required profile

• UAE national with a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Strong interest in building structures, building design and architecture, structural analysis or stakeholder engagement.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE or similar is a plus.
