Group Head of FP&A – Global Investment Fund

About the role

The Group Head of FP&A will design and lead the finance planning and analysis function for a leading global investment fund based in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to senior executive leadership, this newly created role will shape the operating model, performance‑management framework and strategic finance partnership across a diversified portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, multi‑year planning and rolling forecasting for a portfolio of businesses.
• Design and implement an enterprise‑wide performance‑management framework linking financial outcomes to strategic priorities.
• Provide scenario analysis, sensitivity modelling and forward‑looking insights to support executive decision‑making.
• Develop KPIs and performance measures that drive transparency and accountability.
• Act as a trusted strategic finance adviser, delivering independent insight and constructive challenge to senior leaders.
• Produce high‑quality executive and Board‑level reporting, translating complex data into clear business narratives.
• Assess financial and commercial implications of major investment decisions, business cases and portfolio optimisation.
• Build and lead a high‑performing FP&A team, driving automation, data quality and analytical sophistication.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial planning & analysis within a large, diversified organization.
• Proven track record of establishing FP&A operating models and performance‑management systems.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
