Group Head of Tax – Strategic Global Leadership

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Group Head of Tax to lead a multinational tax function across several jurisdictions. This strategic position will shape the Group’s tax strategy, governance framework, and in‑house capability while ensuring compliance with evolving international tax rules.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group’s tax strategy, including UAE Corporate Tax and VAT compliance.
• Provide international tax and cross‑border advisory, overseeing transfer pricing and intercompany governance.
• Lead OECD BEPS and Pillar Two readiness initiatives.
• Structure M&A tax deals, conduct due diligence, and manage permanent establishment risk.
• Oversee thin capitalisation, interest limitation, and overall tax risk management.
• Maintain tax governance, controls, reporting, and board‑level advisory.
• Manage external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.

Required profile

• 12–15+ years of international corporate tax experience.
• Strong expertise in UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and Transfer Pricing.
• Experience in multinational groups with cross‑border operations.
• Proven track record in M&A tax structuring and international advisory.
• Professional qualification (CTA, ADIT, CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Preferably Big 4 and/or in‑house Group Tax leadership experience.
