Guest Service Executive

About the role

The Guest Service Executive will be the first point of contact for guests at The Meydan Hotel, delivering personalised and professional service throughout their stay. Working at the iconic Meydan Racecourse, you will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, handle guest requests, and support the front‑office team in maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform check‑in and check‑out procedures using Opera Cloud PMS, adhering to time standards.
• Issue room keys, manage currency exchange, and process financial transactions in line with hotel policies.
• Provide concierge‑style information on hotel promotions, events, local attractions, and assist with luggage handling.
• Maintain a clean, organised reception area and ensure confidentiality of guest information.
• Prepare and distribute operational and night‑audit reports, and support other departments as needed.
• Follow life‑safety, fire, and emergency protocols and attend all scheduled training sessions.

Required profile

• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Professional appearance, punctuality and compliance with uniform and grooming standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Commitment to delivering warm, personalised guest service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera Cloud PMS.
