Head Mixologist

About the role

The Lana – Dorchester Collection is seeking a Head Mixologist to lead its beverage program in Dubai. You will shape innovative cocktail menus, mentor the bar team, and ensure the highest standards of service and luxury.

Key responsibilities

• Design seasonal, globally‑inspired cocktail programmes that reinforce the hotel’s brand identity.
• Train, coach and mentor bar staff, fostering continuous professional development and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to create sophisticated food‑and‑beverage pairings for events, tastings and VIP guests.
• Manage inventory, control waste and maintain portion standards to maximise profitability while preserving luxury quality.
• Oversee compliance with health, safety, food hygiene and local liquor licensing regulations.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a high‑end hotel or resort bar environment.
• Strong knowledge of premium spirits, rare vintages and sustainable local ingredients.
• Ability to build relationships with premium vendors and secure exclusive products.
