About the role
The client seeks a senior Head of Category to drive category growth in the FMCG sector. You will own the category strategy, work closely with cross‑functional teams and translate consumer insights into commercially relevant opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead category development and shape the product portfolio.
- Identify growth opportunities through market, consumer and product analysis.
- Drive innovation and new product development within the category.
- Collaborate with marketing, R&D, innovation and commercial teams.
- Translate consumer needs into actionable business initiatives.
Required profile
- 10+ years of FMCG experience with deep category expertise.
- Strong understanding of innovation, product development and category management.
- Customer‑centric mindset with ability to turn insights into growth opportunities.
- Proven commercial acumen and ability to influence senior leaders.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
