Head of Finance – FMCG Distribution

About the role

The Head of Finance will lead the entire finance function for a leading FMCG distributor in Sharjah. This senior position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and optimal cash management across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, banking, cash flow and financial reporting.
• Oversee VAT, tax compliance, statutory reporting, audits and month‑end / year‑end closing processes.
• Maintain and improve financial controls, reconciliations, budgeting and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with internal departments, external auditors, banks, suppliers and customers on finance‑related matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in FMCG distribution or a principal FMCG company, preferably in the food sector.
• Strong knowledge of UAE finance regulations, AP/AR, banking, VAT, audits and financial controls.
• Proven ability to independently manage a full finance function and day‑to‑day operations.
