Head of Finance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead our financial function in Dubai. The role will ensure excellence in financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and governance while providing data‑driven insights for key business decisions and long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Monitor financial performance, conduct variance analysis, and recommend actions to improve business outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.
• Manage external and internal audits and maintain relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators.
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, banking relationships, and treasury activities.
• Assess investment opportunities, financial risks, and cost‑optimization strategies.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, and accounting processes.
• Provide leadership and development opportunities to the finance team.
• Support strategic initiatives through financial modelling, business case preparation, and scenario analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CMA, MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, accounting principles, regulations and reporting standards.
• Experience managing audits, compliance activities and financial governance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
