Head of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Finance to join our Dubai office on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role will lead the finance function, ensure strong governance, and provide strategic insights that drive the company’s growth and long‑term objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Analyse results, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and advise leadership.
• Act as a strategic partner to the executive team and manage relationships with banks, investors and auditors.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Oversee budgeting cycles, monitor performance against forecasts and drive corrective actions.
• Manage, coach and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability.
• Supervise cash‑flow, treasury, receivables and payables to maintain liquidity.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency and interest‑rate exposure.
• Evaluate and improve finance processes, systems and automation.

Required profile

• Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA); MBA or Master’s in Finance is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and relevant regulations.
• Proven track record in FP&A, budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
