Head of FP&A – Expert Freelance Opportunity

About the role

Ethos is seeking an experienced Head of FP&A to work remotely on a flexible freelance basis. You will partner with a leading AI lab to train language models on professional finance deliverables such as forecasts, variance bridges, and board‑ready decks.

Key responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated financial documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks covering rolling forecasts, driver‑based operating models, and scenario sensitivity analyses.
• Produce board‑ready P&L decks and monthly flux commentary memos that finance leadership can present without rework.
• Collaborate with the AI research team to improve model outputs for core finance workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance building rolling forecasts, variance bridges, and driver‑based operating models for a growing company.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality board‑ready financial presentations and commentary memos.
• Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
