Head of International Media Relations (UAE National)

About the role

The Head of International Media Relations will lead the day‑to‑day media function for Course Conductor in the UAE, shaping global media engagement strategies and overseeing high‑impact campaigns across priority markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement international media relations strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with leading outlets such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Financial Times and other global publications.
• Identify and secure high‑impact media opportunities, positioning senior leadership and key initiatives.
• Design and execute editorial campaigns across target regions.
• Manage media inquiries, interviews and press engagements.
• Assess reputational risks, advise on mitigation and support crisis communications.
• Monitor global coverage, spot emerging trends and advise on opportunities.
• Lead, mentor the media relations team and coordinate agency partners as needed.

Required profile

• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• 8–12 years of experience in international media relations or corporate communications.
• Extensive network of business, financial and mainstream media contacts.
• Proven track record handling sensitive, high‑profile media issues.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building abilities.
