Head of Operational Finance / Commercial (Abu Dhabi & Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a senior finance leader to oversee commercial finance and operational profitability across more than 18 retail and entertainment locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The role will drive store‑level EBITDA, manage multi‑unit P&L, and support our ambitious expansion to over 100 sites.

Key responsibilities

• Drive 4‑wall store EBITDA and profitability across multiple locations.
• Own store‑level P&L, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Lead feasibility studies for new sites, including IRR, NPV and payback calculations.
• Manage lease analysis, IFRS 16 compliance and fit‑out CAPEX controls.
• Oversee POS, cash and bank reconciliations and treasury operations.
• Control working capital, procurement and inventory processes.
• Support Odoo ERP implementation, audits and financial reporting.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of progressive finance experience, with 3–5 years in a multi‑unit consumer business in the UAE/GCC.
• Background in retail, family entertainment, leisure, hospitality, cinema or F&B chains.
• Strong experience in multi‑unit P&L ownership and operational financial modelling.
• Knowledge of IFRS 16 lease accounting.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or a Master’s in Finance preferred.

• Proficiency with Odoo ERP (or NetSuite).
