Head of Product Innovation

About the role

We are seeking a senior product innovation leader to shape and deliver the next generation of products and services for a global telecommunications business operating in more than 25 markets. The role is group‑level, turning customer problems into launch‑ready propositions and handing them over to the Global Head of Products.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage a disciplined innovation pipeline aligned with the group growth agenda.
• Validate opportunities, develop robust business cases and lead stage‑gate governance.
• Create repeatable product kits for new‑country launches and multi‑brand propositions.
• Translate product concepts into technology specifications and build product partnerships.
• Apply AI tools in opportunity discovery, demand testing and product design.
• Manage launch readiness, handover to product owners and report progress monthly.

Required profile

• Current or recent Global Head (or equivalent) of product innovation in an MNO/MVNO operating at group or multi‑market level.
• Proven record of taking at least three products from idea to commercial launch across core mobile and at least two other areas (e.g., multiplay, B2B/SMB, fintech, eSIM).
• Experience with new‑country launches, MVNO host‑network constraints and multi‑brand proposition design.
• Recent, practical use of AI in product work with measurable outcomes.

Required skills

• Strong commercial judgement and business‑case discipline.
• Technical literacy in telecom platforms, BSS/OSS, MVNE/MVNO architecture and digital channels.
• Ability to define product specifications, platform requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Stakeholder management and influence across a complex international matrix.
