Head Waiter - JA Hatta Fort Hotel

About the role

JA Hatta Fort Hotel is looking for a confident, charismatic and service-driven Head Waiter to lead by example and create memorable dining experiences. The role leads the restaurant team, supports its development and ensures high standards of service and food safety. It is a full-time position in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the restaurant team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations during service
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs and create memorable moments
• Support, coach and develop team members through ongoing training and guidance
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, service quality and presentation
• Assist with roster planning, inventory control and operational efficiency
• Handle guest feedback professionally and turn challenges into positive experiences
• Work closely with the kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless service

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Hospitality Management
• Basic and intermediate food hygiene certification
• Leadership and train-the-trainer certifications are an advantage
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel or upscale dining environment
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
• Experience training and leading multicultural teams
