Health, Safety & Environment Officer (Emirati)

About the role

Group AMANA is seeking an Emirati Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to lead proactive hazard control and drive digital transformation of HSE processes across its sites. The role focuses on predictive risk analytics, behavioral coaching and fostering a zero‑tolerance safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement predictive hazard analytics and proactive control measures.
• Provide behavioral‑based coaching to stakeholders to ensure a sustainable safe environment.
• Deploy and maintain HSE digital platforms for complete, traceable site entries.
• Support project HSE plans and company procedures under the HSE Specialist’s guidance.
• Conduct daily HSE inspections, toolbox talks, and enforce permit‑to‑work systems.
• Maintain records of third‑party inspection certificates and first‑aid supplies.
• Report incidents, unsafe acts, and non‑conformities in line with the HSE strategy.
• Monitor welfare facilities and ensure security arrangements are effective.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or 10+2 secondary education.
• NEBOSH IGC (Level 3) certification.
• Minimum of 1 month relevant experience.
