About the role
The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel operations by ensuring cleanliness and readiness of kitchen, food‑and‑beverage, and laundry areas. You will handle linen, dishware and cleaning equipment to maintain high standards for guest experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and transport fresh linen and spotless dining ware across hotel departments.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
- Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold uniform and appearance standards.
Required profile
- Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Related work experience: None required.
- Supervisory experience: None required.
- License or certification: None required.
Required skills
- Operation of dishwashing machines.
- Use of linen washing and drying equipment.
- Basic manual handling and physical stamina for extended standing, walking, and reaching.
