About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Homeroom Teacher for Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School for the academic year 2026‑2027. The role involves delivering inspiring, inclusive lessons and fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater to a wide ability range.
• Assess and track student progress using Target Tracker and provide feedback to parents.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy and act as a positive role model.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and external professionals such as therapists and educational psychologists.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities and weekly ECA sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• 1‑2 years of teaching experience, preferably with English‑as‑an‑additional‑language learners.
• Passion for whole‑child education and a professional, child‑centred attitude.
• Clean DBS/police check and willingness to reside in the emirate of the school.
