Host/ess - Dining Room

About the role

The Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is looking for a host/hostess to welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience, working alongside a team of servers. The resort offers five outlets, from the beachfront Sea Fu restaurant to the rooftop Mercury Lounge, and 237 rooms including 49 suites.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers.
• Manage the host stand, review the reservation book and recommend the setup of the table sections.
• Keep each dining room section clean, make necessary improvements and check every table before opening so that it is properly set.
• Build a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information.

Required profile

• One to two years of previous experience in a Food & Beverage outlet.
• Previous employment in a luxury hotel is considered an asset.

Required skills

• Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
• Strong communication skills.
