Hostess – Guest Reception and Seating

About the role

Join the hospitality team at Karma by Budha Bar and be the first friendly face guests see. You will welcome visitors, manage seating, and help create memorable dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly on arrival and create a positive first impression.
• Manage reception, seating arrangements, reservations, walk‑ins and waiting lists efficiently.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus and ensure the dining area is well‑presented.
• Answer guest inquiries about menus, facilities, promotions and operating hours.
• Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager, service team, kitchen and other departments for smooth operations.
• Monitor table availability, rotate tables during busy periods and maintain accurate reservation records.
• Handle guest feedback, requests and concerns professionally, escalating when needed.
• Keep the hostess desk, entrance and waiting area clean, organized and presentable.
• Assist the service team during peak times with menus, beverages and basic guest needs.
