Hostess – Guest Reception at Seven Sports Bar

About the role

The Seven Sports Bar at NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a warm, welcoming Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests. You will create a positive first impression and help ensure a smooth, memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Manage reservations, guest arrivals, and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus, and maintain awareness of outlet operating hours, menus, promotions, and hotel facilities.
• Answer telephone inquiries and handle reservation requests.
• Recognize returning guests and special occasions, communicating relevant information to the team.
• Assist with guest requests, feedback, and concerns, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception and entrance area.
• Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager, Supervisors, Kitchen, and service team while following grooming, hygiene, health, safety, and service standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Warm, confident, outgoing personality with a passion for guest service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to stay composed during busy periods.
• Well‑groomed professional appearance and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
